The European Meeting for PhD students in Evolutionary Biology (EMPSEB) is an annual conference organised for, and by, doctoral students. It is in many ways a unique meeting, with equal emphasis on providing a platform for students to learn from each other, and on fostering a sense of community.
The 30th edition of EMPSEB will take place from 2–6 June 2025 in Milovy, Czechia. Even when you are not listening to talks by our plenary speakers and other participants, there will be much to see and do — from natural history-focused excursions led by knowledgeable biologists, to the more tame setting of the hotel sauna.
The deadline for abstract submission has been extended to 30 January 2025!
